What is a green event?
You’ve heard all the hype, now it’s time to plan your eco-event. Now you’re asking yourself, “What does that even mean?” Creating a “green” event means that you take environmentally responsible measures before, during and after your event. Questions you can ask yourself:

- - Where does your food/drink come from?
- - Does the company have an environmental policy? Practice ethical trade?
- - Acquire their food locally?
- - Can you distribute the leftovers to an organization in need afterwards?
- - Is there a way to register your delegates online? Can you offer your delegate pack online?
- - Are your brochures and other materials printed on recycled paper?
- - Can you reduce the amount of materials printed?
- - Can the décor be reused? Are the flowers in season? Can they be distributed afterwards to delegates or organizations after the event?
